The Bipolar Carer’s Support Group is run in conjunction with the Mental Health Foundation Australia and meetings are held at the MHFA headquarters at 10 Yarra St, South Yarra 3141 and online via Zoom.
We meet on the first and third Thursday of each month from 7:00pm to 8.30pm.
The Bipolar Carers Support Group is for family, friends, partners and carers of a loved one with a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder. This group will provide the opportunity to learn strategies for family and carers to maintain their own mental health and wellbeing, learn more about Bipolar Disorder, learn strategies on how to better support their loved one, hear from guest speakers on relevant topics, be provided with carer community supports and carer resources, helplines as well as peer support. This will be conducted in a safe and confidential space while respecting other carers.
This meeting is delivered face-to-face and Zoom.
